The time is here!
November 3, 2008
Well, the time is indeed here. We have spent a lot of money, for a third party candidate; and have advertised heavily on the internet, in newspapers and even on TV. We have put up lots of signs, talked to a lot of people, and tried to be as visible as possible. When I have been left out of debates and media coverage, we have bought our own ads to be heard, and to protest the exclusions.
We have brought new ideas to the campaign. We have refused to parrot the same old line of being "tough on crime". Instead, we have suggested looking anew at the failed war on drugs, respecting the Fourth Amendment prohibition on unreasonable searches and seizures (repealing the Patriot Act, among other things) being more cautious about interfering with families, and putting a human face on the legal system. These are REAL changes which MUST be addressed; and I am the only one who is saying so. The Ogden Standard Examiner says my ideas are "outside the mainstream". That is all the more reason that they must be presented by a third party candidate. That is how change is achieved.
There is still time to tell your friends and to forward this blog as well. There is still time to maximize our influence and let our voices be heard. Tell someone tonight or tomorrow about my message, and ask for their support. If we pass up this wonderful opportunity, we will regret it.
The revolution is here! Let it be heard loudly!
